Red Tassel Balgha Slippers

Red Tassel Balgha Slippers, a collaboration by Sana Mbarek and The Wee Souk.

Handmade in the coastal city of Monastir, Tunisia.

Balgha, also know as babouche are a traditional leather backless slipper.  Sana is a graduate of the School of Fine Arts in Malaga, Spain and takes inspiration from her Tunisian roots.  The Wee Souk collaborated with Sana on the design of these beautiful tasseled slippers.

Balgha are smaller made than regular shoes, so if you’re a half size we recommend you ‘size up’.

Available in sizes 37 – 41 (EU) or 4 – 8 (U.K)
